Nowhere can this be seen more  than with \u003Cb\u003EJameson \u003C\/b\u003Eled film ventures. Not only do they promote the love of good film with the \u003Cb\u003EJameson Cult Film Clu\u003C\/b\u003Eb season of screenings but they also sponsor \u003Cb\u003EThe Film Independent Spirit Awards\u003C\/b\u003E, \u003Cb\u003EThe Jameson Dublin International Film Festival\u003C\/b\u003E as well as the prestigious \u003Cb\u003EJameson Empire Awards\u003C\/b\u003E.\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003ESo when I heard the \u003Cb\u003EJameson Cult Film Club \u003C\/b\u003Ewere going to be screening \u003Cb\u003EMONSTERS\u003C\/b\u003E. I was really looking forward to the night not only do Jameson push the boat out and put on a good night but \u003Cb\u003EGareth Edwards\u003C\/b\u003E’ gentle masterpiece \u003Cb\u003EMONSTERS \u003C\/b\u003Eis a particular favourite of mine.\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cbr\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003EIn the interests of transparency I’m a fan of \u003Cb\u003EGareth Edwards\u003C\/b\u003E – he is a hugely talented individual and although I’ve posted about \u003Cb\u003EMONSTERS \u003C\/b\u003Eperipherally (\u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/www.theestablishingshot.com\/2010\/06\/monsters-gareth-edwards-one-man-film.html\"\u003Ehere\u003C\/a\u003E \u0026amp; \u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/www.theestablishingshot.com\/2010\/11\/monsters-andrew-kaulders-flickr-stream.html\"\u003Ehere\u003C\/a\u003E) I have as yet not given it the review it deserves. So this was an ideal opportunity. Also as with Jameson’s screening of \u003Cb\u003EMoon \u003C\/b\u003Eit felt like \u003Cb\u003EMONSTERS \u003C\/b\u003Ewas getting a proper screening to an appreciative audience almost like a UK Gala or the premiere screening that it deserves.\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003EHopefully you have heard of \u003Cb\u003EMONSTERS Gareth Edwards\u003C\/b\u003E’ post modern take on life after an alien invasion - as Jameson rightly point out with its \u003Cb\u003EJCFC \u003C\/b\u003Escreening it’s a future cult classic. By now you know I have a culture crush on \u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003ETRON: Legacy\u003C\/span\u003E and judging by the number of Twitter followers I have lost directly related to \u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003ETRON\u003C\/span\u003E tweets I’ll be winding down my hyping up of one of the best, big releases we have had this year. But not before posting about my visit to \u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003EFlynn’s Arcade\u003C\/span\u003E.\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003E     The original \u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003ETRON \u003C\/span\u003Ehad its faults but my love of it grew over the years and it inspired me to either follow a career in arcade ownership or computer graphics - I settled on the latter for awhile.\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003E     Back in July of 2009 \u003Cb\u003EDisney\u003C\/b\u003E unveiled a \u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003EFlynn’s Arcade\u003C\/span\u003E at Comic Con San Diego. I was green with envy when I saw pictures and video of fans getting a chance to visit \u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003EFlynn’s Arcade\u003C\/span\u003E as well as get a first look at a real \u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003ELight Cycle\u003C\/span\u003E.\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003E     So about 6 months ago when Disney asked what UK fans would like to see next from \u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003ETRON: Legacy\u003C\/span\u003E naturally my list consisted of:\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003E- A \u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003EFlynn’s Arcade \u003C\/span\u003E(in London)\u003Cbr\u003E- A Light Cycle (in London)\u003Cbr\u003E- Some \u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003EFlynn’s Arcade \u003C\/span\u003Etokens\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003E     Not for one second did I think that an Arcade or Light Cycle would make their way to our shores. float: left; height: 74px; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; width: 105px;\"\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: 180%; font-weight: bold;\"\u003EG\u003C\/span\u003Eiven the increase and number of various Immersive Cinematic events to choose from I would be surprised if you haven’t participated - or at least aware of the uprising of events popping up in London (as well as the rest of the UK).\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003EThey are the cinematic equivalent of Tyler Durden’s \u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003EFight Club\u003C\/span\u003Es, the secret gigs of the 2000s and the warehouse parties of the 80s - they pop up, create an immersive experience and fade back into the night.\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003EFor years - in the hopes of offering a deeper, more compelling experience to keep audiences engaged and interested - there has been much talk of how audiences can be engaged beyond the passive viewing experience with immersive cinema.\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003EWith the continued dissatisfaction in traditional cinema, many of us are seeking out more niche experiences, not only more in line with our general social seeking behaviour but experiences that embody the same care and attention, showing a film that filmmakers put into a making a film (and which we view the film with.)\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003ETheir have been various attempts at this, the most enduring (and successful) of these being \u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003ESurround sound\u003C\/span\u003E, \u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003E3D \u003C\/span\u003Eand more recently \u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003EIMAX\u003C\/span\u003E. get together that allows fans to discuss the finer points of the film over a Jameson Cocktail. The RI’s goal is to connect people with science and my guest \u0026amp; I certainly did embrace the World of Science on the evening. This was actually a double hit for me -  as I had planned to visit the RI at some point. OK! fair enough some really Victorian era style marketing and thought nothing more of it.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EHowever I love a good mystery and excel at puzzles. I couldn't stop thinking about the cards after all this was marketing for Sherlock Holmes master detective. When I got home today I emptied my goody back and dug out the cards again. Naturally I had collected a number of them from other guests at Movie-Con as well as the box on the security guys desk (for my film memorabilia collection).\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAfter having another look I thought the numbers on the cards could mean something 236., 221, 57. and 94. Perhaps a GPS location, map co-ordinate. The periods between the numbers made it obvious, it's an IP address. After some trial \u0026amp; error number swapping. Find who? Well that much was obvious I am after all a product of many conspiracies that have needed unpicking - and if it's not the Butler you know where to look next. After a quick visit to IMDB I punched in my 5 character guess. And B-I-N-G-O was her name. The Camero has an automatic transmission, power steering, with “Craigers” wheels up front and “American” wheels in the back. The dash has been modified with new gauges, a spruced up interior, and the “Autobots” logo on the steering wheel!
