Jameson Empire Awards 2012The Jameson Empire Awards 2012 will take place on 25 March 2012 and voting for the Awards is now OPEN! The competition is open to any film released between 22 January 2011 and 20 January 2012 and film fans across the country can nominate their favourite film or actor in the 11 categories from now until 12 March 2012.

From blockbusters such as Thor, Captain America and Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes, to finales such as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 and not forgetting art house successes including We Need To Talk About Kevin, Drive and The Skin I Live In the choice is completely yours!

Open voting closes 21 February 2012. On 5 March, Empire will release the shortlist of nominees in each category from the films and actors YOU voted for! Voting on the shortlist closes 12 March 2012.

Last year’s winners included The King’s Speech, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1, Four Lions, Inception, Kick-Ass, Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Chloë Grace Moretz and Edgar Wright and next year’s ceremony promises to be as star studded as ever.
