The Establishing Shot: See - Dior's Lady Grey starring Marion Cotillard & Sir Ian McKellen

Dior’s fourth and final final film in the “one lady, four cities” short film series. Lady Noire in Paris, Lady Rouge in New York, Lady Blue Shanghai, and finally Lady Grey London. Each of the short films stars the gorgeous and enigmatic Marion Cotillard. Lady Grey was directed by John Cameron Mitchell.

I love this short filmvert, the strong imagery and lingering camera work evokes a sense of London. And its immediately gets rated for having such classy talent in it. In case you are wondering it's all about the Lady Dior handbag. Unfortunatley I wasn't invited down to the premiere launch at the ICA but ever since I saw it - the images and soundtrack have been haunting me. In a good way.


It was shot at various locations in London including the Brixton Academy, The Rivington Club and the London Eye.
