If you have trouble viewing it. Head over to Google Video to see the clip or buy the Hot Fuzz DVD and look in the DVD extras where it is presented in much better quality.

Edgar Wright produced and directed the aptly named Dead Right during 1993, when he was just 18 years old. Filmed in his hometown Wells (as was Hot Fuzz) it was his first bash in the the Cop genre.

He wrote, direct, shot, recorded the sound and produced the film. All of the characters are played by school friends. Not only does Dead Right parody Dirty Harry but it gets it title for the original title of the first Dirty Harry film "Dead Right".
