Looks like the team is getting back together. We know very little about the sequel to Wonder Woman as yet. But bringing the same team back together that created Wonder Woman can only bring good things to the fore.
So far we know that Kristen Wiig will be Cheetah, Wonder Woman's arch nemesis. Whose evil side is brought forward by her jealousy of Wonder Woman's achievements - whether this is the case for the film is unknown.
Chris Pine is returning as Steve Lombard. But whether he is the Steve Lombard we know from the first film or someone or something that just resembles him is unknown as yet.
The imagery so far presented does seem to allude to an Orwellian element to the year 1984. Given the Cheetah's comic origin there may be reactionary parallels drawn between the current state of politics and her rise to infamy.
Below is the Warner Bros. release with first look imagery, confirming some bits.
