Conan the BarbarianIf you read my blog you’ll know that recently I had the opportunity to strike one of my bucket list items off the list. Which was: Arm wrestle Conan the Barbarian. Part of meeting Jason Momoa for cocktails experience was that we were given the opportunity to submit questions for Conan Jason Momoa to answer. Along with other bloggers I took the opportunity to throw some questions over to Jason. My full write up of the questions and the evening can be found over on the mighty LiveforFilms.

On the evening that I met the great Jason Momoa I stole acquired (need I remind you; Thief, Gladiator, Warrior, King) copies of both The Conan Chronicles: Volume 1: The People of the Black Circle and The Conan Chronicles: Volume 2: Hour of the Dragon by Robert E Howard.
Last night I finished reading Red Nails the first story of Volume 2. It has been a great introduction back into Robert E Howard’s brutal Conan and has me eager for more as well as to see Jason Momoa live, love and slay asHoward's Conan the Barbarian later this month. Finishing Red Nails reminded me that Jason Momoa took some time out to answer our questions and more specifically one of mine in Part 1 of Conan Speaks. I asked:
What does Jason feel a Conan film needs to be, to engage, captivate and excite audiences today?
Conan questions with Jason Momoa Part 1

To read my full thoughts on meeting Jason Momoa and the evening head over to: www.liveforfilms.com it's the good stuff even if I say so myself or head over to the http://www.facebook.com/conan3duk page.

Conan The Barbarian will be unleashed on Weds 24 August, 2011 in the UK.
