EE British Academy Film Awards Confirmed Attendees – UPCOMING EVENTS

We are 4 Days away from the greatest film awards event of the year and the EE BAFTAs have just announced who they expect to walk the red carpet this Sunday 16 February. Sadly my coverage of the EE BAFTAs has been lacking this year as I just haven't had time to keep up with the announcements.

However as soon as the nominations were announced I went on a begging, borrowing, buying campaign of the films nominated as well as a slew of films featuring the EE BAFTA Rising Star Award nominees: Dane DeHaan, George MacKay, Lupita Nyong’o, Will Poulter, Léa Seydoux. So I would have my head around the films featured and will hopefully have some thoughts up about all the nominations soon.


ATTENDEES CONFIRMED FOR THIS SUNDAY’S EE BRITISH ACADEMY FILM AWARDS

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has today confirmed of a number of nominees, presenters and other attendees of this Sunday’s EE British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Opera House, London.

Hosted by Stephen Fry, the ceremony will be broadcast on BBC One and BBC One HD at 9.00pm on Sunday 16 February, and will feature a live performance from multi-platinum-selling artist Tinie Tempah and Mercury Prize nominee Laura Mvula. For the sixth year a special red carpet show will be broadcast by the BBC Three, hosted by Edith Bowman at 8.30pm.

British Academy Games Awards Nominations

Russell, Emma Thompson, Dame Judi Dench, Leonardo DiCaprio, Lupita Nyong’o, Martin Scorsese, Matt Damon, Michael Fassbender, Oprah Winfrey, Paul Greengrass, Ron Howard, Sally Hawkins, Sandra Bullock, Steve Coogan, Steve McQueen and Tom Hanks.

Dame Helen Mirren, recipient of the BAFTA Fellowship, will also be in attendance.
