Skyfall LocationHere at The Establishing Shot we always go that one step further (i.e. we are not above pulling in favours from the little black book) to bring you the best and latest news about our favourite topics, like the time we got the jump on what Neil Marshall might be working on next for www.liveforfilms.com, or the time that we brought you the first proper look at The Dark Knight Rises extras, crew, locations and costumes without spoiling the possible plot. This time we bring you a little treat from the set of James Bond 23 or Skyfall as it is officially now known.

To ease the pain of finding out that - that once again I was not cast as James Bond. I popped down to the set of Skyfall. As you are probably aware shooting on Skyfall started on Thursday in Whitehall, continued intermittently at Pinewood and back into London - at Smithfield Meat market on Saturday evening.

Today they were setting up at a new London location where they will be shooting till Wednesday. Out of respect I am not going to mention where the shoot is taking place, Old Vic Tunnels, Leake Street, Waterloo but I’m pretty sure it is obvious from the photos for anyone who knows London. Or has been dragged around by me scouting locations.

While I was there I was allowed to take some photos as long as they did not show the still being built set or any of the cast. Daniel Craig, Dame Judy Dench, Ralph Fiennes or Javier Bardem who were not actually even there.
